Please indicate which of the following UST Retiree Privileges you’d like to request:

UST email account

Note for retired staff:  Your UST account is deleted on your termination date. By making this request, a new UST email retiree account will be created for you providing you with a St. Thomas email address and access to the St. Thomas on-line address book.  You will not have access to your previous email files, deptstore or personal storage.

Note for retired faculty: Your UST account remains active for two years after your separation from the university.  You will be notified when the two-year deadline is close to expiring, allowing you to extend by request here, if you wish.

Your UST email (NetID) account will allow access to email only.  The password on that account is set to expire every 120 days.  To reset your password visit www.stthomas.edu/password.  A password can be changed at any time, and it is not necessary to wait for expiration. In order to reset your password after expiration you must have answered your NetID challenge questions. To complete or change your challenge questions login at www.stthomas.edu/password.  If you need help resetting your UST password, contact the Tech Desk at 651.962.6230.  The IRT Tech Desk is unable to provide support for your personal hardware (computers and printers) but they have several tips and tricks on their website for maintaining your computer:  http://www.stthomas.edu/irt/support/desktopsupport/personalcomputers/maintenance/default.html

Use of UST’s Shuttle Bus

One more privilege that the University is happy to provide our retirees at no cost is the opportunity to use the shuttle bus that operates between the University’s St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses. A UST Retiree ID card is required for this privilege. With this request, your UST Retiree ID card will be programmed to allow you to swipe your I.D. card upon boarding the shuttle bus. The University asks that you plan your shuttle trips with the following in mind:
  • Please avoid peak faculty, staff & student peak hours of 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, Monday through Friday during the academic year. (Fall and Spring semesters). Shuttle drivers can only accept UST Faculty, Staff & Student ID cards during these times.
  • University retirees may use the shuttle that operates on Saturday without any time restrictions.

We are happy to extend these retiree privileges to you and welcome your continued engagement with our university community. Please allow two business days for your request to be processed.
