The University is pleased to offer our Retirees the following privileges. A UST Retiree ID card is necessary if you use the Library Facilities or the Shuttle Bus Service as described below. An ID card is not required for Retiree Email. After you submit your request, please allow two business days for processing. You may pick up your UST Retiree ID card at the Card Office, located on the 1st floor of Murray-Herrick.

UST Retiree Email Account
UST retiree email account is for email and Murphy Online access only. It will not give you access to other UST systems.
Note for Staff Retiree: Access to UST systems and accounts will no longer be available after your termination date. A new UST retiree email account will be created, providing you with a St. Thomas email address, and access to the St. Thomas on-line address book. You will not have access to your previous email files, deptstore or personal storage.
Note for Faculty Retiree: Your UST account remains active for two years after your separation from the University. You will be notified when the two-year deadline is approaching. It isn’t necessary to request Retiree email until you are near the two-year deadline.

UST Library Facilities Access
UST retirees can request access to university library facilities. Your UST retiree ID card will allow you to check out books from the university’s collection. .

UST Shuttle Bus Service
UST retirees can request access to the shuttle bus that operates between the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses. Use of the shuttle bus is limited to current faculty, staff and students during Fall and Spring semester peak times (Monday through Friday from 8 AM – Noon).
All riders of the UST shuttle bus are required to show and swipe a valid UST ID card to utilize this service.
