Victorian Detectives with guest speaker Larry Millett

Did you know Sherlock Holmes solved mysteries that incorporate Minnesota-based events and history including the St. Paul Winter Carnival, the great Hinckley fire and the Kensington rune stone?

Join us as author Larry Millett discusses his five books of Sherlockian adventure, particularly his first novel Sherlock Holmes and the Red Demon which focuses on the Great Hinckley Fire. Prior to the talk, students will discuss their own research and their study of the Victorian detective’s genre. There will be a Victorian-themed reception following the discussion and a book signing (copies of the books will be available for purchase). This event is free, but registration is required.

Online registration is now closed.
